Brief summary: Seo Jeong-Hoo is what they call a night-errand boy, someone who will perform any task needed for money, and he's the best in the business under the code name "Healer." Things start to change up for Healer when someone involved in one of his jobs mysteriously dies and Healer is framed for murder. Even though he's supposed to be on the run, Healer decides to take on one last job, but this one last job involving a second-rate newspaper reporter Chae Yeong-Shin may require more effort than he thought. As Jeong-Hoo stays near Chae Yeong-Shin, he realizes that there may be more connecting them and the famous reporter Kim Moon-Ho than just a job...

Moment of honesty- this was my third time watching "Healer." I'd already seen it twice before I started the blog, but my rating for it is the same every time! It was awesome! Ji Chang-Wook is amazing! Park Min-Young didn't disappoint either! The plot is exciting and organized, and I see no reason in the world not to love "Healer!"

I first saw "Healer" after I had seen the 2014-2015 drama "Pinocchio," and since then I have described "Healer" as the child of "City Hunter" and "Pinocchio." "Healer" combined the action elements that we see in "City Hunter," the concept of searching for a Robin Hood character like that when he's right in front of you and the priority to moral principles, and the methods of media that we saw used in "Pinocchio." This description of "Healer" is pretty accurate when we think of the Batman-like behaviors in "City Hunter" and the cold weather of "Pinocchio" (funny, yes, but they're some of the first things to cross our minds when we reflect on  either of those dramas). "Healer" is a perfect merging of the two!

I might compare "City Hunter" to Batman, but "Healer" is Superman. This analogy also fits pretty well when we consider that Healer took on this timid personality of Park Bong-Soo in order to stay in a media occupation close to Chae Yeong-Shin when in reality he's anything but timid. This part of the drama has a completely Clark-Kent-and-Lois-Lane vibe. After seeing "Healer," I have wondered before who would win if they were in a street fight- the City Hunter or the Healer (this is without taking K2 into consideration 😃)?

"Healer" does not disappoint if you're looking for a drama to keep you interested! I fell in love with the story and the characters so fast! It definitely maintains its rank in my top ten!
