The 2017 Korean drama, starring Park Hae-Jin as Kim Seol-Woo, Park Sung-Woon as Yeo Woon-Gwang, and Kim Min-Jung as Cha Do-Ha.
Brief synopsis: Agent K (Kim Seol-Woo) is the best Ghost Agent for the NIS. He always gets the job done. But a new mission leads him to the sides of an obnoxious actor and his manager as a cover. Kim Seol-Woo has faced difficult missions before, but this one looks like it will be his most difficult yet. Will he be able to get the mission accomplished?
“Man to Man” is a fun drama, especially for those interested in a spy theme. It’s organized, well orchestrated, and that’s all I like to ask for out of dramas with that kind of intensity. Even if all the English is bad, at least the plot makes sense! And Park Hae-Jin always does a job well done. As the show progresses, he becomes even more of a living meme.
I found the romantic aspect a little lacking. Too much lying back and forth and not enough honest hearts. Quite a bit of the cliche staring back and forth. The OST for those parts was a bit over-dramatic as well.
Cameo from Song Joong-Ki alert! You’ll know it’s coming when Kim Seol-Woo asks Woon-Gwang for 5 million US dollars. I saw his face and could only squeal!
For the most part, I really liked it. It’s a drama that everyone can enjoy. 4/5 stars.
