The 2017 Korean drama, starring Go Kyung-Pyo as Choi Kang-Soo, Chae Soo-Bin as Lee Dan-Ah, Kim Seon-Ho as Oh Jin-Kyu, and Ko Won-Hee as Lee Ji-Yoon.
Brief summary: Four young people are all just trying to move ahead in life, but they all come from different backgrounds and go about it differently. But chance brings all four of them together in one melting pot of fun, chaos, and progress. Can all four of them really make it, or is there only one winner in this game of life?
I really loved watching Chae Soo-Bin and Go Kyung-Pyo in this one. They both played characters that I fell in love with all too easily. In fact, I thought that the title of the show had everything to do with how Dan-Ah treated Kang-Soo instead of Kang-Soo’s business.
The story is very slice-of-life, so I’ll admit that it might have been too mellow for my tastes (I’m a bigger fan of fantasy an sci-fi dramas myself). However, that doesn’t change the fact that the quality of the show was very good and everyone involved did a fantastic job.
For some reason, this drama made me think a lot of the Disney production of “Newsies.” It’s probably because both shows are about characters with more menial employment that rise to make their stand and mark on their community. Especially with such camaraderie!
This one isn’t bad at all. Loved the main characters! 4/5 stars!
